Odawara Castle is the nearest Japanese castle from Tokyo.
When becoming a castle of the Sengoku Daimyo Odawara Hojo since around 1500, when the total structure surrounding the castle was completed in preparation for Toyotomi Hideyoshi ‘s comeback, the size of the castle reached the maximum and developed into the largest medieval castle in Japan.
From Tokyo station to Odawara station, you can go by train.
